AN ACT to incorporate the Islamic Youth Front.

[Date of Commencement: 10th December, 1991]

1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the Islamic Youth Front (Incorporation) Act.

2. Incorporation of the Islamic Youth Front.

From and after the date of commencement of this Act, the persons who are the present members of the Islamic Youth Front (hereinafter referred to as "the Association”) or shall hereafter be admitted members of the Corporation hereby constituted shall be a body corporate (hereinafter referred to as "the Corporation”) with perpetual succession under the name and style of "Islamic Youth Front” and by that name may sue and be sued in all courts with full power and authority to have and use a common seal and to alter the same at its pleasure.

3. General objects of the Corporation.

The general objects for which the Corporation is constituted are hereby declared to be—

(a) to help poor Muslims to give their dead a decent burial;

(b) to assist poor Muslims to conduct the circumcision ceremonies of their children;

(c) to assist poor Muslim girls to get married;

(d) to render medical assistance to Muslim patients and invalids;

(e) to grant financial assistance to Muslims to repair and renovate their homes;
