AN ACT to incorporate the Anuradhapura Buddhist Association, Anuradhapura.

[Date of Commencement: 8th March, 1952]

1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the Anuradhapura Buddhist Association, Anuradhapura, Act.

2. Incorporation of the Anuradhapura Buddhist Association.

From and after the passing of this Act the President, Vice-Presidents, and members of the committee of management for the time being of the Anuradhapura. Anuradhapura Buddhist Association, Anuradhapura, and such and so many persons as now are members of the said Anuradhapura Buddhist Association, Anuradhapura, or shall hereafter be admitted members of the association are hereby constituted and shall be a corporation with perpetual succession under the style and name of "The Anuradhapura Buddhist Association, Anuradhapura” and by that name may sue and be sued in all courts, with full power and authority to have and use a common seal and alter the same at their pleasure.
